Good places to sail

There are many places in SL where a large number of adjacent sims have been specifically designed for sailing. Most such places are home to one or more yacht clubs. These are groups that support sailing by: giving instruction, making boats, charts, and equipment available, developing courses and hosting races, and holding other group social events. Group membership is open and costs nothing.

Here is a list of the largest areas devoted to sailing, along with their yacht clubs. Sailboats are available at most of these locations.
