Elisha Paklena

The graphical version of Elisha Paklena lives in a large tree by the shores of Mowry Bay. She is a Deck Hand for the Mowry Bay Yacht Club and a founding member of the Open Seas Project, competes occasionally in various regattas, and is a proponent of sail cruises.

The textual version of Elisha Paklena-Montpardien is known to haunt random locations on TapestriesMUCK.

The real-life personage behind Elisha lives in half a duplex in rural Maryland with her two cats, a roomate, several computers and lots of books and has never sailed (or even been on) a sailboat in her life. In fact, she suffers from acute aquaphobia -- which she is slowly attacking with the intent of curing so she can learn to sail.

While she may not generally discuss it outside of certain circles, Elisha's human is astonishingly knowledgable in datacenter operations and has worked in IT for a little over eleven years. At one point she was (very exceedingly briefly) in the US Army but was discharged as a result of a freak accident involving gravity.
